About Us
How It All Started
My name is Orlando and I absolutely LOVE being a wedding filmmaker. While most kids were dreaming of becoming an astronaut or a firefighter, I was dreaming of becoming the next Steven Spielberg or George Lucas. I knew at a very young age that there’s a special kind of magic in the way film allows us to tell stories. I wanted to be part of that magic, but a thousand life detours made me put that dream on the backburner for a very long time.
How We Got Here
This is where the story gets good! A girl came along. A smart, beautiful, fierce girl who I can’t live without. We got married at her family farm in Arkansas and I cried when we read our vows, but not as much as I cried when I met our two beautiful children. I learned to love more intensely than I knew was possible. A thousand more life detours brought me to the day when she came home from work and said: “I told a co-worker that you were a film major and she wants to know if you’ll film her wedding”. I agreed to film that wedding… and a few others after that… and a few others after that.
I’m in Love With Your Love Stories
Many years and hundreds of weddings later, I know all these life detours brought me exactly to where I was meant to be. I get to make films that are so much more meaningful than the films I dreamed of making when I was a kid. My team and I get to capture the story of two people learning how to love more intensely than they knew was possible. And that, my friends, is magic.
